it was obviously over exaggerated to make the plot funnier and goofier, hence the artstyle changing to silly whenever.

idk if you're fine with novels, but Annoying Zhao Gongzi is a little similar to this, in the sense that the main couple are both toxic & annoying (still love each other lots tho) but also funny asf. they're basically an old married couple atp. it may seem just toxic at the beginning but pls just ride it out i promise its really good. u can read it on chrysanthemum garden
