Well, the thing is, English translations of some manhwa are so behind the current chapters. Like, window to window already has 20+ chapters kn korea, but i English they are still in ch. 12 and the updates are slow af. Lover boy is the same. They aren't even doing their job properly. I planned to buy too but now I've lost the appetite to support the artist coz lezhin US is slacking off. I'll just forget about manhwas
The manhwas take time to translate. If translation groups were working on the same number of manhwa that Lezhin currently is translating would probably take them more time to release chapters too.
This is not an excuse not to pay, however. English translation is slow in print also. It's probably not true that Lezhin US is slacking off, but maybe just because the cost of pressuring their staff to release multiple chapters a week to catch up with the Korean version, and the time blank it would create after the series ends is not profitable for the company.
You're getting an update every week, so it actually doesn't sound bad. It's just because of human nature to compare with others and think of themselves as the underprivileged that you've justified your piracy behavior.
I completely agree with this. I am impatient, so I buy the Korean version and use OCR software and translating programs to get the gist of what it says, and then also purchase the English version. And when I am unable or unwilling to spend that extra money, I just suck it up and wait. It's hard. But seriously, it's not okay to steal from hardworking artists just because we are impatient.
And, we have to remember, the more people who buy the English versions, the more money the company will have to translations.
If that stuff keeps getting stolen, the artists and the translators will not make enough of a profit to continue their work. Nothing is truly free.
Exactly , I mean they are going to translate it anyway and also Google translate works fine I usually translate raws like this just to know what happens. I'm not saying that everyone can buy the chapters. Many people have other priorities and some of them are minors so they don't have full control of their money but if people can purchase some korean chapters since they read them here then that would support the artist, its a good start.
Heyyyy guys!!! I know that after what happened on twitter with the Lezhin artists many of you wanted to show your support by buying the chapters but not all of us own a credit card so i just wanted to say that you can also buy a Google play card and pay with it. I dont know how iOs work since i dont have one but i think its something similar!!! I'll also do the same since i dont have a credit card. I know i'm not the only one who wants to support the artists and i didnt know you can use a google play card since it's not available on Lezhin Web ╥﹏╥
