Everytime i think about Layla’s backstory and her obstacles in the future I just feel SO BAD for her like i literally cried everytime. This girl is so unfortunate to suffer at such a young age and then get treated by the ml like sht. I just can’t accept that even tho he loves her he was still an a**hole AND never really apologized for what he did! Poor layla I swear it’s stressing me out but i just can’t stop reading cuz the artstyle is so immaculate

ML treated FL so bad before but after married he treated her nicely. He just obsessed with her. I mean FL should marry Kyle but ML gaslighting her that "she loved him" not kyle and slept together (but it seems forced/ rapey to me) since she did say she doesn't like it (s*x). ML really a trash. He was like "if she can't smile at me at least she can hate me as long she looks at me". That's why he treated her like garbage and NOTE: He didn't understand his feelings that until FL left him. I feel sorry for the girl he suppose to marry (forgot the name) and Kyle. ML wants to marry that girl because of the status but wants to keep FL by her side and make her like mistress. Eeeww what a greedy man. Andddd no remorse or redemption arc!!!! If you read my beloved oppressor at least Heiner got a huge regrets and redemption arc before Annette open her heart again. But this FL ughhhh simply accept ML again since he was his first love. Idk why this so hype when ML just a redflag and FL is a straight up shojou! ngl i hate this kind of FL and ML.

Hate me all you want but I still wants Leila to end up with Kyle. I don't even like Matthias. Usually I'm ok with black or red flag but not this one. No need to say it's dark romance setting era and it's common for the duke. His arrogance really turn me off. If Kyle can opposed everyone because of Leila why not Matthias? Just because he didn't understand his feelings? Yeah whatever... Just say women loves bad boy and good man goes to heaven. Leila definitely is the typical shojo girl who will fall for a guy like Matthias. Not to mention redemption arc is nowhere to be found. What a joke.. at least beg and regret! Arh!
