I dont know if you another definition of 'like' but I hope this isn't it. None of their interactions were pleasant, or consentual, she doesn't WANT to follow him and listen to his every word but based on her situation as a young adult based in trauma she feels like she HAS to, to not become a burden to her uncle.
She doesn't blush, she doesn't smile, hell she even scrubbed at her body when they kissed and kept having nightmares of that same day, nightmares not dreams...I have yet to see any forms of her liking him and if your basing it off of she thinking about him well I would argue wouldnt you unconsciouly have thoughts of the person who assaulted you because why would they do that when they clearly don't like you!?
She is a victim. Plain and simple because the force who holds the most power over the situation is HIM, and he's misusing it.
Anyways, she is trying in her own way to avoid this man, and while i know they are end game I will not forgive him nor will I blame her currently for what is happening to her.

I do feel bad for whatever happened to her regarding her past childhood trauma and her birds that Matthias killed but that doesn't change the fact that she fell in love with him in the end despite all of this and that in itself is disgusting..She wouldn't have kissed him with so much passion if she didn't love him? And what? She didn't blush? Lmao..she was clearly so into it (pulling his shirt, etc) and then cried to fool herself that she hates him..Read chapter 33 again and look at her red face while lying on his chest. She hates and loves him at the same time and doesn't realize that herself.

idc at the end she does the logical thing by marrying him since she gets pregnant and uncle Bill dies. She was all alone in war time. Anyone in her shoes would do the same, marry the father of her child who could secure her baby’s life. Not to mention that before ending with him she gets bed ridden by the fact he found her… she nearly died because of reuniting with him. As for her blushing in current chapters, it indicates embarrassment from her, she rips his shirt while trying to push him way. Seriously couldn’t you tell or you just want to hate on her since she’s a ‘weak female lead’.

In her inner dialog she kept saying she didn't want this, and he trapped her under him, and why was he doing this to her when he clearly states he doesn't like her...
Again, im a manga only reader so im only going off of what ive seen up until now. I dont know MC from the later parts of the novel and I will agreed with you that there could be some love hate relations that could be taking place here, however for MC there is no love in any or these chapters I would agrue that the guy is more battling with a hate love situation.
Will she make stupid decisions in the future? I think so but my main point still stands from my earlier point, as of right now she is a victim and will continue to be until she starts to initiate back these interactions of her own free will. Not coerced into it but because she wanted it.

sorry about the spoiler but YES we get a chasing arc. For me personally he didn’t suffer enough but when do they ever… and it’s not about worshipping Leila (talking to the other user btw). They both are messed up but on Leila’s end I do get it she has been abused since childhood but Mathias….mf was raised in a good household holding some responsibilities sure but he had no reason to be this crazy. I do feel pain for her because this feels so REAL. More often than none a powerful men will destroy life’s just because he can. I can imagine this happening in the time period the manga is in. Again your opinion is valid for you and I’m not gonna comment anymore or try to change it. Is just basic sympathy not worship.
Right! She’s a victim of his friggin’ twisted desire! (´⌓`) She wants ABSOLUTELY NO PART of the duke! If not for her uncle or having no place to go, I’m sure she would have fled his property as soon as she could, especially after his assault on her! She’s literally disgusted with him!
Girl likes him and has thoughts about him all the time even after all his obsession, creepy behavior, disrespect, sexual assault,.. I could go on and on and the list doesn't end. He's a screaming walking red flag yet she is trying to suck up to him (her other favourite method is playing hard to get). She says she hates him but her actions clearly speak otherwise. The only victims in this story are uncle Bill and Kyle. Convince me otherwise. Don't see Leila as a victim but as Matthias' pair villainess with a Stockholm syndrome and watch how you'll start to enjoy reading this manhwa without feeling any guilt ^_^
