yes I actually forgot but the intention was still 100% there regardless, if she'd accepted the promise then the oath was made and her not accepting it was because she trusted him to follow through "drinking only her blood=staying loyal to her forever" without having a promise binding him so yeah, their end is the same (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
People saying its an open ending are very confused. Its very conclusive. She's never going to turn into a vampire and he's going to die when she does as a human. Chapter 202, he made a promise. To only ever drink her blood after she said she'd die as a human. Meaning when she dies, he's never going to drink anyone else's blood because that's what he promised, and as mentioned in the story quite alot, vampires make a promise on their life, meaning if he breaks the promise, he dies. Either way, if she chooses to live as a human (which is pretty conclusive considering the ending) he'll die with her since he can only drink her blood, but in case she decides to change her mind, she can turn into a vampire and they're still together forever, either way, their ending is them spending the rest of their lives together to the final breath they take. The fact that this isn't even my theory but what the story said, its a beautiful ending. just wanted to rant because I love when authors generate a story not through a solidified panel but simplistic dialogues consistently from start to finish.
