I think a big factor is this is also the fact that our mc is a man. If he was a woman, the officers wouldn’t treat him as harshly/as a criminal. A man getting raped? No way, he MUST’VE been asking for it. Drugs in his system? No way he got date raped, definitely took it consensually even though we saw it was forced down his throat on camera.

So they found him drugged and practically passed out while being raped. Knew he was drugged. Watched a video of him being raped. The prosecutor then blames the victim for not knowing that he wasn't being possessive during their situationship when he told him to stay away from the man that eventually drugged and had him gang raped. Then chokes him because he watched the video of him being raped.
I think that the Uke needs to sue the city and make big money from all this bs. There is a difference between consented bdsm and straight-up rape.
