DUDE YEEEESSS! I can't even begin to imagine the betrayal Sulkin must have felt. Imagine willingly going against your own nature for freedom for the greater good, and he was proud to do it, only for you to get tossed aside for someone whose not even born yet. Unlike his older siblings who were happy to give up those responsiblities, poor Sulkin was absolutely devastated. Honestly, how could anyone is the royal family even begin to think that was okay? The king is practically senile, they don't have the time to wait for another crown prince to be trained before he died, like you have a perfectly capable prince who doesn't need another decade or so to rule, SULKIN WAS RIGHT THERE.
Not saying that the poor eggy was at fault but that was a completely selfish and unpractical thing to do. Ik its their culture but that is fucking stupid. I hope the king relinqishes the eggy's right to the throne so he can lead a normal life.
Fuck, this update pissed me off. (/TДT)/
BRO I DONT BLAME THE ORIGINAL HEIR FOR GOING MAD SINCE HE IS RIGHT?! Imagine working hard on smth for so long and sacrificing your freedom for the greater good only for an unborn child to suddenly take your place???????? LIKE??? YOU SPENT ALL YOUR TIME AND RESOURCES TRAINING THIS PERSON ONLY TO REPEAT THAT PROCESS AGAIN EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE A VIABLE CANDIDATE?!?!?
Like i dont condone cheating but its kinda obvious that the bird ppl practice polygamy/concubines so thats that. Honestly the main problem is the laws that the birdpeople have. Like, if the og crown prince was literally allowed to keep his position, he wouldnt have gone mad, his mother wouldnt need to rightfully avenge him, and the king and his side piece can live peacefully even with the child
Ik its probably to switch things up in an overdone trope but there is a reason why the eldest usually gets the 'heir to the throne' status. The oldest child rarely ever changes but the youngest always has the possibility to be a middle child.
