i first read this on the afternoon of august 25, 2021. the reason why i remembered that date specifically wasn't because this is a good manhwa, it was because i listened to Ichiko Aoba's Windswept Adan for the first time while reading this.
i can still remember that i didn't like the uke for some reason and the story was so slow paced that i focused more on the music playing on the background and to this day Ichiko Aoba's still my favorite musical artist and Windswept Adan is my most favorite album of all time. helped me through a lot of sleepless night. her music is just beautiful and serene, fitting whether it's day or night
there seems to be some kind of connection between the two though. the common theme/color in the manhwa, as i noticed, is the color of rain and gloomy days. Windswept Adan, too, has aquatic theme, from the vast ocean to the tropical storms.
while this manhwa is not that of a great read, i still have a special place in my heart for it and i still think of it often after all these years.
