don’t worry! if there’s anything that needs developing in regards to chase’s character, it’ll just be on how he responds to strangers who come too close and how he manages his trauma. he reacts through violence now because that’s the only way he knows how to protect himself. but he’s a very good man! he’s literally the only green flag amongst all the author’s semes. and he’s even a better father to pete than his father had ever been to him. he’s just struggling a lot internally, but chase has always been capable of loving, especially towards josh and their children.

the author tweeted in 2021 that they wanted to extend the side stories though. but it only has 2 volumes of side stories so far
Well Chase is not the only green flag in this author's novels. I just read lmiyc (Chase's parents) Ml (Chase's father) was such a green flag, he set the standards too high. For some reason I felt like he's too good to be true but it was true. Makes me wonder how did that man's children became like Grayson and Chase.
from what i’ve heard, this is true. but i didn’t consider him as a green flag, because as i said, he’s a shit parent and is part of the reason why his children grew to be like this. he only cares for one child and it’s his omega child. so yeah, you’re right about him being a loving partner and a husband, but a father, not really :( which sucks because i was also planning to read his spin off but him being such an apathetic father turned me off
Well I completed the mtl today. It was such a fluffy story but the setting felt wattpad to me (I mean famous sport captain x speck of dust + cinderella plot or financial gap). But he was so patient and understanding, nice morals as well. You'd think he'd make a very good father. So I am curious, I wanna how could a person like that such a shitty (maybe absent) father. After author complete all Miller family story, I would love to see how to Miller siblings actually grew up (not a romance but slice of life).Like I wanna see how these children grew up.
i’m gonna be honest, with what we got from chase’s childhood memories of his siblings and parents being huge apathetic assholes toward him, i’m pretty sure a story about the miller family will be pretty far from a slice of life genre. HAHAHAHAHAHA. From what I was told, Ash suffered from brain damage due to excess pheromones + he was obsessed with his omega to the point of only being able to love their child who resembled his omega. Even without reading his spinoff, I can see why Ash wasn’t able to extend his love to his alpha children. His love stemmed from his obsession toward his omega and no one else. Maybe that’s why he was only as good as a partner, but was unfit as a father
Could be. But brain damage would occur if pheromones were accumulated in body, but he used to release them. They just felt like absent parents to me. I mean how could an *spoiler* an older sibling just drop their younger sibling from chimney and not have their ass whoped after.
I just wanna read a slice of life of Miller (not just Miller) children being children (like about childhood and stuff).
Why does the author focuses on relationship status in side stories rather than focusing on what kind of parents mc and ml are. Like in kml I was so upset we didn't get much of Spencer in side stories.
And for some reason memories also feel short. Like Grayson's misdeeds towords Chase felt just few short sentences not well addressed in main series (Idk about side stories as I haven't read them yet). For some reason I wished they were a bit descriptive.

not at all. i hated grayson and i have no intention to read his happy ending at all.
i also wish that we get more side stories on the couples being domestic. i mean i could understand why the author didn’t reveal much on the side stories with some of their couples being parents, the reason being that they didn’t do much as parents, but kml and kmiyc couples look the most promising as parents so i wish we saw more of their children. i know the author was planning to release more kmiyc side stories back in 2021, but who knows what their plan is now.
The character development should be out of this world. Bro is NOT ready to be near a child
