You know i’ve been trying to avoid reading the novel because i’m not sure I like the pacing nor the start of this story. I still read the manhwa tho coz I trust the comments of those who read the novel and it’s too early to drop. Though i’m not sure if I want this to marinate or if I should start reading the novel since i’m sorry but i’m getting a little bored.

hmm well they dont kiss until around ch 200, yuder doesnt fully acknowledge his own feelings and desire for kishiar until around ch 300, and they dont have sex until the 450s. personally the more i read the more i understand the story, the settings, and the conflicts, all while slowly but very steadily witnessing kishiar and yuder’s romance bloom + learning more about what exactly happened in their 1st life that led to both their lives ending they way they did, and that made the reading experience very enjoyable and immersive for me. but with those chapter numbers i mentioned, if you arent a fan of slow-paced romances and/or youre only reading for kishiar and yuder’s love story then im afraid this really might not be your cup of tea

(my reply got cut off ) anw but im not exaggerating when i say their romance is one of the best written ones out there imo (and ive read a lot) bc it’s just so solid and has so much depth, and you can tell the author has thought deeply about how they want it to develop. and god theyre SO good at writing satisfying romantic/sexual scenes that make the slow burn worth it, so id still encourage you to keep reading!!
couldnt stand the weekly wait for a new manhwa chapter so i finally decided to read the novel and OOOOH boy not all fictional couples have well-written romance, angst, sexual tension and chemistry, and individual personalities but this pairing is definitely 10/10 in all of those
i was intimidated by 1k+ novel chapters at first but now im thankful for this insane length bc i seriously cant get enough of these 2 and the story as a whole
