i did not know but now that i know this i do not feel bad for him at all
We saw it in Hailey memories. She asked him to elop with her but he didn't come
i love the main characters but i feel bad that og hailey & lawrence have such a tragic ending. they obviously loved each other deeply but because of her fathers obsession with her getting married to the king she drove herself to suicide & lawrence not knowing that his lover is actually dead but having to watch “her” with another man & even falling in love with him has to be so damn painful. i honestly hope somewhere in the plot we get to see the og fl & the fl helps her pass on & help sort out things with lawrence as well. it’ll be hard for him to get over someone he loves though.
other than that, this is really good & there’s good chemistry between the fl & ml. there’s not too bad of communication between them cause they actually sit down & talk but obviously the only issue here is that fl doesn’t want to get too attached in fear of losing this unfamiliar & comfortable warmth ml is giving her. i like how it’s not such a major problem for ml though & that he’s still falling for her & waiting for her to open up & isn’t really being suspicious of her even though he should. it’s honestly a breath of fresh air to stumble on a manhwa with a ml who’s not dumb & isn’t afraid to express how he feels.
