Just enjoy it for what it is

Kinda tired of the comments comparing the novel to the webtoon and complaining. It's like "Who Made me A Princess", the novel and comic are so different from each other but still good in their own way. You can prefer one to the other, but I don't really see the point of saying oh "xyz was better, or xyz doesn't make sense compared to the novel" when the characters and actions in the webtoon are so different and of course will have different results. What made sense for the novel isn't going to make sense for the comic and vice versa.

Like, if novel-Cliff really didn't know Lize was a psychopath the whole time, and got tired of her nonsense and ended up marrying someone else, then sure it makes sense.
But the webtoon version of him clearly knew she was a bit kookoo, and aided and abetted her willingly. Him losing everything and still choosing the author makes sense, cause that's what he wanted. That's this version of him.
The Edith in the novel got tired of expectations and receeded to their territory to live in seclusion, but so what? The Edith of the comic showed that what she wanted most was understanding and an apology, which she never received in her previous life and she got what she wanted.
Like, if you're going to compare them then at least do so within context. To say the webtoon makes no sense compared to the novel when it's not possible to cross compare them one to one anymore because the content has already diverged, is inane imo.

Preach. I think it definitely shows in the webtoon from start to end that the brother was never a good or kind person. Whatever psycho ending he gets he deserves. He doesn't deserve a happy ending.
