We took a sharp left turn LOL

Well Edith, whatever is currently happening isn't in the novel either LOL.

In the novel Cliff had a believable redemption and ends up marrying another woman after healing from what Lize did and whom he truly fell in love with.

Edith and Killian established a life in Ryzen, where Killian gets to be away from the shadow of his brother and father.

Even though the manhwa added some scenes that I liked (the princess saving her brother, the previous 'Ediths' punishing K), the other stuff has been kinda horseshit so far.

As a not novel reader, I prefer the webtoon more because it's kind of fresh. I don't really believe Cliff should have a redemption considering he knew author!Lize was insane the whole time and he liked that version of her. I think readers should just separate the novel and the webtoon bc they're clearly different, even in characterization, and whatever's happening in the webtoon makes sense in its own way.

Ahhh...I read the novel years ago. I remember now what you just mentioned. Although I quite like the manhwa ending too. For Cliff to be a player of the novel game is seriously a better plot twist than marrying another woman

Okay that's fair! In the novels, no one except Killian knew about the transmigration thing and Cliff's characterisation and thoughts was not as explored in the novel.
