Honestly, I don't like it. The original idea behind the A/B/O world was a challenge to create a world where men have to give birth. It started on Fanfiction.net and spread outward. So, in the initial stories it was a disease that wiped out a good portion of women and soon boys began to change to develop traditionally feminine traits: androgynous features, no periods but heats, and they formed wombs. The men (soon-to-be alphas) in order to get descendants fought over these new males (omegas) and men who lost out became betas.
Each new story and author added its own fiction/flair to the world of A/B/O, but the addition of women marred that world, in my opinion. It's not treating the women as weak or second hand citizens -- it's what's the point of females being Omegas?? Women have menstrual cycles that sometimes make them overly sexually aroused, causes cramps that can last for days, they have a womb for birthing, and must always be aware of the rapist tendency of some men. Why be an omega on top of that?? It doesn't make any sense to me!!
The A-B-O world should stay between males; although, alpha-women with penises can stay.
