Not really, I mean he has his shortcomings but he is 1000 times better than MC's boyfriend for sure. At least he let MC choose his own choice in the end and most importantly he didn't force himself on MC.
Anyone who cheats on their significant other and ruin their household can't be that great. I feel like him in the bf are on the same playing field. It doesn't seem like he's trying to divorce his family to be with the MC. It just seems he would like to sleep and play around with him. It also feels like he is trying to manipulate the MC as well. He is using the MC battered emotions,confusion portraying as a knight in shining armor to get with him but have hidden motives. I could be wrong but that's what I got from his actions.
I mean you're not completely wrong. I've seen the raw. But compared to that MF bf, he looks like an angel to me. I hate the bf character to the core of my heart. You will know what I'm saying, in future chapters.

I'm not sure but I don't think it has a novel. And talking about the boss, he and MC parted away on friendly terms when MC chose his bf. I think he realised that he couldn't fulfil MC's psychological and emotional needs and that MC would never move on from his bf.
He Honestly doesn't have any good choices. His boyfriend is abusive and they're stuck in a trauma bonding relationship. && His boss is married with a kid trying to seduce him which makes him scum too. Imo the boss doesn't really seem like a good guy neither he is sneaky and manipulative and it feels like he wants the uke moreso of a possession like uke is a bird he would trap him in cage type deal.
