I’m aware of intentionally setting aside realism to enjoy fantasy, but…

This artist seems to hate consistency, yeah? So at first she lived in a world where everyone wore clothes made from basic hide wraps, now she’s wearing well fitted clothes with embellishments and intricate jewelry made from delicate metal working. And to think, fabric doesn’t exist in this world yet. What are her outfits even made of? Her outfits detract from my enjoyment of this series.

Her last outfit was pure white though? Curtis is a red/pink blend. Unless you meant her initial outfits, then yes. You’re right.
Btw, intricate jewelry (made with metal) should not be possible this soon after the first discovery of metal. Think of how long it took humans to master metal working. Even with bai giving instructions, it’s weird. I doubt she ever took a class on blacksmithing in her life.

Yes. I don’t doubt that. Even I’ve read a book or two on history. But tell me this, if you were suddenly teleported to that world (prior to her arrival) could you, with your modern knowledge teach others how to turn lumps of metal into, not only armor, but also fine jewelry?
If reading a book, or ten books, was all it took to grasp that level of teaching skill- who would go to college? Also, all 3rd world countries would have their problems solved- maybe 300 years ago, by the great power of books!
