But from what they said, all of them had cassetes and they took them out themselves before they died so that they could become npcs and stop remembering the deaths. What I think is that he went into the game to try and get someone out of the game, it's what makes most sense to me

theory dumping here LMAO: bada is definitely an outlier, or at least the least experienced compared to the main five. i’m wondering what the reason was for him to being added later than the others? him having a cassette tape may prove that he’s an intended player, but i’m actually wondering if he is an npc added to boost the morale of the 5 players, or at least added to progress the game since the majority of the original 5 were so worn down. it’s been shown that bada can’t kill the killer, but doha definitely can. we haven’t seen the others try to kill the killer either, so im wondering in later chapters if the they’re able to, that’ll definitely separate the others from bada somehow.
also with the emphasis on seongchan, a separate theory i have is that he’s the game master, but i’m only thinking this because of his behavior before his tape was removed, he’s bada’s cousin, and not a lot of what we’ve seen or know about him as a player makes any sense in terms of working towards the completion of the game.
