I think they fall for each other around the same time. If I remember correctly though, I think Chase says 'I love you' first.

Chase accidentally sees Josh talking to someone else about his kid. You know how Josh lies to everyone that his kid has a mum? Well, Chase overhears Josh talking about Pete (at this point he doesn't know that Josh has a kid) and lying to someone about 'Pete's mum'. Chase cries to Josh and begs him to choose him over 'Pete's mum'. He also meets Pete and only at the end of the meeting, does Josh tell him that he's actually Pete's dad.

Thank you but can you tell me on how chase reacted to Josh telling him he’s the dad?

He was initially really really scared that he graped Josh when it happened, but after Josh reassured him that it was consensual, he was happy. He was sad in the side stories though, that he couldn't support Josh throughout his pregnancy, or when he had a c-section, or when Josh had sleepless nights when Pete was a baby.

Yeah. He may be a fucking moron for now but he's the sweetest.
