I don't know but as a person who grew up without a Father, it's so touching how he really cared for Kiera from the start before he decided to turn back time because of a mistake.

But I also wonder where this hate come from, because I'm sorry I find his excuse and reasoning quite stupid, as someone from a high position and a head at that, it's stupidly stupid not to look far behind the background and the authenticity for the self proclaimed real daughter, after all that 'for the sake of the empire' fvck thing, I beg to differ, If he really cared he should've protected Kiera undoubtedly without reason, if he claimed to ' undoubtedly know he's his daughter' he wasted one lifetime, I don't see remorse nor regret, All I see is guilt.

Even in second life he never really fathered, he was just the Head of the Duke whatsoever, Up until he recovered his memory, he was just all sorry-ass man.

I don't want to acknowledge him as his father, and I don't want Kiera to give him a chance either, it's okay if it all happened in one life, but one can never erase the fact that he killed his own daughter for fvcks sake that was, standing over beside the fake while watching Kiera under that guillotine, IF it weren't for that magician who turned back time because he was so miserable, the world would be doomed because of his foolishness, so much for being a sorry-ass father ' I'll make it up to you in this life time' my foot.
