    Maximilian is typically used for boys. That and shorter versions like Maxim are (or used to be, idk about now) popular in eastern europe. I grew up in a slav community and like half of all the russian speaking guys were named Max lmao.

    With that said, even then the name suits her. Especially when you give it a softer english-y pronunciation it doesn't necessarily read as male. Max can be and is used for girls too after all.
