I think it was cause Mika got up and said sorry so Gen could of assumed that Mika did that on a spur of a moment then regretted it and said sorry which lead to Gen thinking he got rejected
It was because mika stopped, and went home. So he thought he was rejected

Mika kissed you. He was the one who kissed you Gen! Even pushed you down and you had the nerve to assume you were rejected? Like how? Shouldn't it be the other way around?
