I don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for but this feels like such a cop out. The author already did this plot point in bj Alex. Get fresh new ideas!! How about making the ml actually put in the work and being punished for literally raping Dan?
There's no redemption in my eyes. But I would be satisfied with seeing Jaekyung grovel on his knees. Maybe have him compete even more after he recovers. He can get another partner for his jinx, and they work out fine. But somethings missing. The sex was fulfilling and he keeps winning. But not having Dan is doing something to his emotions. Something like his heart wasn't in it, and he doesn't have that same passion and drive for competing without Dan
But sex is such a lazy plot device. Make Dan have an actual backbone for ONCE. Hope this eased some of your frustration. Lemme know if you think my idea is any good lol T^T
Tbvh, from the moment jaekyung continuously acted like an asshole to dan, i knew its going the bj alex route. And as much as bj alex frustrated me on how "easy" the redemption happened, i knew this one's gonna be like that too seeing how many chapters we're already in and still no hope of character development.
I guess i'm just controlling myself from straight out cursing out the moment i scrolled through the panels of this chapter cause what the actual fck — why are we suddenly all nked and onto fcking right now? (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
But yeah, your alternative route is better. And while we're at it, its much more satisfying to see dan find a simple, humble, ready-to
-give-their-all-for-him partner and live happily wih his grandmother while jaekhyung suffers with his fckery life.

Am i disappointed that the author had to put sex there just to make a plot work? Yes. Do I acknowledge that in order to make that plot work, they really must do the deed? Sadly, Yes.
I was disappointed that Dan's gonna be used like this again but looking at the conversation and the premise, sadly, yes going down to this might be one of the plot goers for the author. But i dunno. Maybe there are other routes to take to make the plot work w/ o the sex but i cant figure it out yet. So if any of you could think of a possible alternative on them havjng just to show that Jaekyung really just needed Dan for his body (as Dan acknowledged), and to make Jaekyung leave the town, please dooo share. Cause i'm really frustrated rn
