Well... wholesome is part of it? Fran still behaves like a kid with his family, sitting on their laps, hugging, cheek and forehead kisses, etc. So, it's wholesome but also full of explicit scenes. The way Fran's scenes and personality are written in his 14 year old self has "I'm a baby but I know all about being an adult when it comes to relationships!" vibes all over and it feels very out of place to keep his 6 year old personality while doing all that with Treize.
He does have some maturity in him when it comes to wanting to help the people in the slums and actively participating in the making of medicine for the people there. He also acts like an uncle with his nephew and plays with him a lot as well, but it feels more like they're cousins ngl!
God I remembered the whiplash when I got to that part in the novel lmao. Though I haven't finished it yet cuz Japanese MTL makes me dizzy(⊙…⊙ )
Not to mention that while Fran is 14, Treize is 18 which sure can be accounted for due to the time and age on where the mangas based but I still feel it's a little weird considering that the author made them have that age gap

Indeed, Stefan teaches Fran about sex education... kinda? Like, Idr how but Fran was starting to think about adult stuff and feeling more conscious about his body so he mentioned to Stefan during one time they were bathing together sth about how he was going to grow big too and the older brother later got Fran into his room to explain sex to him and stuff.. Ig the brother thought that a practical demonstration was necessary (to me, it wasn't..) and so he pulled his pants down and touched him to tell him that it's normal for it to stand up and that he would be using that if he were to have sex with a woman.. he literally left Fran with a boner and pulled his pants back up and when they laid down to sleep he touched his hole to say that in case he was to be with a man, he might have to use that instead. I mean Stefan was weird for that but at least it wasn't a proper handjob Ig and as of chapter 216 nothing has happened between brothers again. Stephan is married to a princess and he's got a son named Glen that's Fran's baby nephew. Also I remember that Stefan was about to pull his d1ck out too when taking Fran's pants off but Fran stopped him and told him he'd die of embarrassment since the difference in size would be too much.
As for Treize and Fran, they do sleep together a lot because Fran's powers became unstable and he was going partially blind (since seeing magic is part of his powers, his sight became unstable) and sex with his lover was supposed stabilize him (which worked but that's a weird setting too ngl). The whole family knows they're sleeping together btw, they even tell Treize to tone it down a lil cuz Fran limps the morning after they sleep together. I was hoping they'd have Fran grow up so there wouldn't be a lot of sex scenes while Fran is 14 but they go at it like rabbits and it doesn't seem like he's going to be growing up until quite a few chapters more.
