The common theme where an MC is thrusted into a situation that would be overwhelming for most people, in this case, a ML wants a relationship for any reason or maybe they're both put in such a situation. But if one of them, especially an MC, is conflicted, everyone or most people are frustrated with them. Even amongst readers. Maybe a "time limit" from outside forces comes along too
