this features the relationship between friends and family and how that impacts trauma. there is romance but its not the focus, most of it is the mystery and relationships btwn the characters. trauma is basically the characters' middle name. lots of angst and abandonment issues. also i said it focuses on friends but its a bit more nuanced than that (its kinda like master servant tbh its a little complex cuz of the lore).
