Dan clearly is not doing good AND we’ve been shown Jaegeng understands this is partially because he went off on him so harshly. You just witnessed an attempted unaliving that he claims to not even remember. Dan must’ve smelled terribly of alcohol when he pulled him out of the water too and you won’t even tell him that you came to not only see him but bring him back. Bribe his job and move in next door to harass him. He has justifiably left and told you why and set boundaries. To go this far and not be able to admit you have feelings for him and then agreeing to take advantage of him - AS HE IS POSING IT TO YOU BLANTANTLY AS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF HIM. Also adding that this whole time has been you taking advantage of him. Which you know he has trauma about. I am floored. If the next chapter isn’t Dan breaking down in the middle of it or being completely dissociated during it or Jaegeng not being able to go through with it… It’s getting harder for me to see Jaegeng being redeemed no matter what, you know what I mean?
