I know I can’t talk for everyone in here, but coming to read every update, is like getting back with your ex, or committing any self destructive behavior. Most of us are literally just waiting for 2 things:
1.- Redemption arc in which Jaekyung hopefully suffers a shit ton
2.- See how this ends
Sure he’s hot and has a huge dick but that’s pretty much it. Him being an insufferable selfish asshole outshines both of those qualities.
So yeah, it is possible to absolutely hate a character (even if it’s the main lead) and still keep on reading.
It might be but at that point remove the romance tag cuz there has been no romance to begin with. Its just sex scenes of a stuck up asshole and his miserable prey
This is an erotica. Usually when you don’t like a porno you just skip to the next video. You don’t watch the whole fuck fest and go, ‘Hmmm, I didn’t really like that guy and he just made me so mad! But I watched the whole porno through to the end!’ No one does that. So why do it here?

If something as shallow as artstyle is enough to keep you reading something you find morally reprehensible, then it is you who is shallow with a fragile moral compass. Wouldn’t it be better to just admit you like the story, but would hate it in the real world? At least you would have a stronger moral ground to stand on rather than,
‘I am fundamentally against the actions of one of the main characters, but his dick is so good I keep reading, and then choose to bitch about it so people can think I’m moral, but the reality is I don’t know myself well enough to be comfortable reading something that tests my morality.’
Like a child who needs a book a little too above their grade level taken away because it’s harmful to them.
Of course you can have characters you hate in a story, but this is one of the leads and the story revolves around him and his growth. You don’t get a ‘break’ from him because even when we are focused on Doc Dan, he is thinking about JK! JK is Jinx, he is the story!
