Exactly, like he can't save him just like that, and now he's the one getting beaten up too. Jun isn't a bad person he's a kid, who's allowed to not like people. He just so happened to not like person his crush likes. That's normal. Out of his dislike not once was he verbally horrible to him nor physically did any harm. He just tried to stay away. And when he couldn't he tried to help (sure with his own Interest in mind but still he helped which more than anyone else did. )

Doesn’t justify Jun being a bad person. Says a lot when you said “altho he doesn’t like the victim he didn’t abuse him” so you’re suggesting he’s good just because he didn’t verbally or physically attack the victim?
Are you nuts? You do know that when you’re criticising you need to be accurate with your points.
Jun is unlikeable. It’s evident if you were to read more books than bl that you’d understand that he’s not a well written character in general. He’s extremely average AND unlikeable.
Also as you read the novel you’ll realise every fucking character is trash. This entire thing is trash apparently. I’m sticking out to only see if it really is, I’m not holding their words for true yet. But I do see that even Yohan seems like he’s going to take a turn.
Just because he doesn’t really act on his thoughts doesn’t make him a likeable person. If he did act on his thoughts he would’ve been worse but his thoughts otherwise are trash itself. He’s allowed to hate the victim but which kind of pathetic moron makes it ALL about himself. Hate him, but don’t pity him and victimise yourself, even tho both are victims.
There’s more to his character than JUST that but really he’s not supposed to be the one to be liked.
And I think that makes the story better.

Weather he is likeable or unlikeable depends on readers depth understanding for that particular character, u are definitely the later one who doesn't wanna connect or understand a flawed character which must be cause he isn't ur ideal innocent and perfect mc type , readers like mc here cause he isn't typical bl mc who is Angel like but a flawed character which is very human like which is why most of us finds him interesting to read about, looking on the action and monolog mc is definitely not the reliable narrative , if u cannot connect with the story or mc then u definitely should stop wasting ur time reading it

Typing “weathter” instead of whether says a lot.
It’s called an opinion.
This mc should not be connected with
That’s the WHOLE POINT.
Anyways the story is trash
To make it better the least you can do is UNDERSTAND IT
This Manhwa is not a piece of art as you guys claim it to be
Stop glorifying this bullshit
“Oh such a flawed character not the typical mc!!!”
It’s actually a very common character OUT OF BL GENRE
The one that dies first in an apocalypse
Or the one who ends up as the male lead in a romance
Please, try to understand the NOVEL and me
If it’s not possible don’t argue

Have you never heard the saying "one man's trash is another man's treasure"?
You're coming in here trying to convince everyone that your opinion is right and that Jun is a bad person. He may not be a good person at heart, but he's not a bad person either the way I see it. He would be if he acted on his thoughts. And again he is a teenager, and evidently one without the emotional support he needs, based on context clues.
Please don't insult people's intelligence by saying "if you read more books you'd understand." You also don't get to decide what's likeable or not to other people. You may want to consider that you're simply just not able to see what other people are seeing but that doesn't make them wrong. Plus I really do not know what your standards for a well written character are here. Mind explaining that? A character that isn't average? A character that is likeable?
I haven't read the novel so I don't know what you're talking about in terms of it supposedly being "trash", which is a term I resent being used for any type of creative work regardless of its quality btw. Maybe Jun WILL spiral into being an actual bad person, I don't know. However, as of this moment in the comic he isn't. Thought crimes aren't actual crimes.
Also I want to be real clear here, unless the author has explicitly said Jun isn't supposed to be likeable, that's not a statement you can make as though it's an absolute truth.

I have read the entire thing and it seems you are unable to comprehend
I don’t care what you think of the character
My point was how could you say something so irrational as “the mc is a good character because he’s not bullying or beating the victim and not acting on this thoughts so it’s fine”
Which indicates that bullying and beating him would make him a “bad character”
Do you think you’re special when there are multiple people who have said they like the mc and I haven’t replied to them or said anything to them
Do you even read what I’ve said
I justified my reason to not like him or a general reason to not like him because why are we glorifying him and excusing his thoughts and making him a great character when it should not be okay
But I justified it to THAT PARTICULAR line not in a way where i spread my opinion
Open your eyes and ears

And your entire paragraph is full of errors, it’s hard to read
Not just grammatical
But also inaccurate depictions of how you interpret characters and tropes
I can absolutely say a book is trash if I think it is trash
The art is beautiful
But if the book is bad I WILL say it’s bad
There is no point in sugarcoating it at all
I have not blatantly said out the word trash because I said out my reasons too
So I don’t understand why you could say something so absurd like this
Just because you don’t have a valid point to argue w it?
Mine isn’t morally wrong
Mine is a fact
Have you seen what you wrote?
The mc is not a complex character
He’s simply scarred
And he is made to be unlikeable
I can judge a book my way
You cannot tell me how to interpret it
This is the BASICS of literature are you actually dumb?
Do you even know how absurd and illiterate the last few sentences were?
If you’ve read “the merchant of Venice” you’ll come across a morally grey character called Shylock
Many people love him and have justified him
Many people have despised him because of his actions
But do you think Shakespeare himself had gone out and said “please interpret this character this way”
Are you mad
I didn’t mean to argue I meant to make you understand where you went wrong

I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt but it most definitely looks like you just came to pick a fight and are willfully ignoring what people are actually trying to say. If you can't get your point across without insulting people it's not worth engaging with you :) Best of luck to you and your life but you get the block.

You clearly think you’re perfect. You think you have absolute moral high ground to judge everyone like you're FUCKING god. WE GET IT. But the fucking irony is, is that you keep correcting everyone’s grammar but you don’t even know how to use a full stop or a comma. You tell people that you “can judge a book your own way” BUT YOU were the one who jumped down EVERYONE’S FUCKING THROAT, TELLING THEM THEIR INTERPRETATION WAS WRONG. How you act like you’re being personally attacked when YOU were the one to first through an insult. Like how dumb, pretentious, arrogant and narcissistic can you get? The way you just decided to be an asshole head first when you entered these comment sections, says a lot about you as a person.
SERIOUSLY: Take some time and look inward. self reflect. You are so blind to your own flaws that you haven’t even realised EVERY comment you have made, has made it more and MORE abundantly clear just how pathetic and hopeless you are as a person. No one is perfect, that’s what it means to be human. Yet you judge and compare everyone to this tragically MISTAKEN “perfect image” you have of yourself.
Do NOT reply. Don’t waste any more of our time. Instead I suggest you act wisely (for the first time in your life) and WORK on yourself, you have a ridiculously far way to go.
I read this prepared to hate Jun, but he's nowhere near as bad of a person as he thinks he is. He hates Taesan because he's jealous, but not once has he done anything to put Taesan in a bad position deliberately. The one thing you can accuse him of is not caring to help once Taesan is out of sight, but even so he was also the one person standing up for him when he got bullied.
So no he may not be a good person at heart but good actions are good regardless. He's also basically still a kid, and one who probably doesn't realise he might have unmet needs and is projecting it all into his destructive crush on Junwoo.
(I could be wrong, but some clues: No one noticing the night brawl in Jun's own house, parents are curioiusly absent and don't know what's going on with their son. Also happy and healthy people don't act as detached as Jun does. He's witnessing severe bullying, not forming true friendships, and he's keeping an extremely tight lid on his emotions except for in the most extreme cases, fearing what will happen if he doesn't.)
