But we have clearly seen it wasn't the Emperor or Crown Prince's fault entirely. They have been searching for the child, was lied to about the gender of the child, manipulated even in the first timeline. They deserve closure. The fact you are too blind to see it is a big disappointment that you have no compassion. Just because we saw they were horrible through Shu's eyes, means nothing until their side of story was revealed and made sense why things happened the way it did. I feel bad for both sides because nobody deserved this.
I'll admit, the way the Emperor is going about it to make things known about his daughter being his is the wrong way to go about but I can see it's also desperation to make things right and protect her properly this time from the Empress and her child who isn't biologically his at all.
I didn't say anything about the fact that the abuse is only from Shuelina's POV and that it didn't happen IRL. I understand the emperor's frustration, I've read the spoilers and that's why I said in my previous comment that I kinda get him. But the way he approached everything in taking back Shuelina and reclaiming her as the imperial princess is STUPID as fuck.

Like let's be logical AND rational here, even if the empress appeared as a saint and all smiles, he still needs to be careful around her and ensure Shuelina's safety first, he's a royalty and royalty is full of blood-shedding, don't be so naive pls. The fact that he doesn't even have the power against the empress and kept jeopardizing Shuelina's safety is why I call him a big fucking doofus. He has all the preparation to welcome his child for SIX years, be it son or daughter it doesn’t matter, the empress is still a threat and the way he doesn't deal with them first is what makes me facepalm so hard.
