Look, I was never the biggest fan of Naruto but I believe that it had a great world system as well as themes there was one single thing that Kishimoto Masashi couldn't do right and that's making good characters or spacing his story. I'm not gonna go into Naruto and my problems with it but it was mainly Sakura that was deeply tragic to me, but let's go to Buruto. First, The spacing is atrocious, I dislike the jump to how we get from when he was banished to him already being strong. Like I wanna see the mental things he went through accepting what he was going to do yk, like I wanna see hatred and despair turn into acceptance. The fact that he's just like his father is stupid because he is his character, and he's just like "Well, heh! guess I'll just have to change him..." BRO, that's legit Naruto that's not Boruto?? its like if you can't make two different characters without copying then you're not good at character writing. I wanna see how Boruto lived by himself, I wanna see how he learned not how he's just magically a genius. I wanna see the battles within himself to find that wiseness that he somehow possesses now?? second, it has got to be the characters, I know I touched on this in my first thing but to go deeper I feel as if every character in this manga is a copy of the first characters introduced in Naruto. The best example is Boruto, he is his person stop making him Naruto. overall this story has so much more potential for seeing the world that Naruto takes place in because we have an MC that is wandering around or is supposed to be as all the chapters take place in fucking Hidden Leaf. Also, Kishimoto Masashi just needs to know how to write better women and I'm sick and tired of saying it, the way he writes these girls all in love with Boruto pisses me off.
