JKs sticker tattoos and some shower thoughts

Am I the only one that hates JKs tattoos? They look like temporary tattoos you get on a summer holiday and beg your parents for, when you are like 9yo haha. Also, maybe an unpopular opinion, but I’m really enjoying reading this. I love redemption arcs and I loved BJ Alex’s as well. When you make peace with the fact that this story is not real life, you can actually enjoy it withouth overanalyzing everything. Even though I agree there is a lot of similarities with BJ Alex, I still look foward to next chapters. We all know exactly what will happen here, so I’m not triggred by anything anymore. Of course JK is a piece of shit, but this is just that kind of story. After reading Animal X, I learned to appreciate cliche stories like these. Ifykyk

Finally someone says something about those awful tattoos lol. They are so uglyyyyy. I feel like Ive never seen any manhua ml that has an actually good tattoo design. They are so cliche, wannabe badass designs.

As for the story itself. I found it to be entertaining as well, despite the anger it stirrs within me at times. But I can't lie and say Im not disappointed that it's nothing different to BJ Alex, other than this story having more violence and Jaekyung being meaner and with severe anger issues compared to Jiwon. Jiwon was a saint in comparison to JK. And KD is pretty much a carbon copy of...I forgot his name. Jinx had its moments where I thought it was going to take it's own direction, but today's chapter proved me wrong :P

I understand what you are saying, about the story repeating itself, I also agree. I also hate using SA as a main point of the story, but sadly many choose to do so, I still struggle to see any merit to it. Rarely there is a good story that involves actual real life scenarios that are fleshed out well and somewhat belivable, but real life is not as entertaining I guess. I personally am aware that this is an issue, but for my own mental health and enjoyment, I choose to interpret it in the way I wrote, to make it easy for me to digest, and that is just my honest truth. Some will dissagree with me, which is fine too. I read A LOT of manga so not overly attaching is keeping me sane :)

Yeah I get what you mean. Obviously even those who complain about the level of toxicity (myself included at times ) keep coming back because of curiosity and entertainment. No matter what you just can't look away from the train wreck. And a lot of us knew what we were getting into when reading Jinx and for continuing to follow along with the story. Personally I live for the drama and the angst. But as I said, it would have been nice for this to go a little different to the author's first work. It feels like a waste of potential. Jinx had it's moments where it does surprise you, it does feel new and different and exciting. But the end of this chapter feels like a lazy cop-out. We all know JK is a jerk, in fact, in the last couple of chapters he has been so tame compared to when he was first introduced. It seemed more like himself when he said he should tie KD up and take him back by force. Why go through the trouble to show us this side of JK where he is super considerate of the elderly, doesnt drag KD back to seoul by the hair, shows wayyy too much patience any time KD talks back or rejects him? Only to pull the same old thing like this? But oh well, we shall have to wait and see how this goes I guess. For all we know its probably just the author teasing us into thinking it is BJ Alex 2.0
