they were all players + at one point bada joined, afterwards they almost finished the game but it didn't work out we dont know why yet, you can turn into a npc by taking your cassette off its like killing themselves in game, basically two aka now three of them turned into npcs three players are left doha bada and the cousin but the cousin is sus why? Because he is the one that played closely with doha and that was before doha lost his memory also before bada was in the game = conclusion he might have all the left over answers about why they couldn't finish the game and why a lot of their memories are gone
