Bro author is trying so hard to make it like BJ Alex, but it’s gonna flop hard I think. Because first of all, Alex was WAY FUCKING LESS TOXIC than this horsey. He was not a narcissist either and had empathy and common sense. So that’s why, him realizing his mistakes, trying to redeem himself and asking for forgiveness was not out of character and made sense. And I personally, and I think a lot of people also ate that redemption arc up, because he was genuinely regretting his actions and was chasing after Dong Gyun like a dog lol

Second of all, Dong Gyun was also wayyy less traumatized and mentally wounded compared to our poor baby Kim Dan. Obviously I’m not undermining his past traumas (before Alex), but like at least he had friends, more stable life, and he had much more self-respect. So that’s why, when he finally accepted he was not treated well and said fuck off to Alex, it was again, not out of character and made sense. But here, I feel like Kim Dan in season 1 vs 2 are not consistent. He never accepted that he was treated like shit. Even in birthday card, he wrote about how he can finally breathe near this horsey (oh boy), and how he is happy now. Shit, even when he left, he never acknowledged that Jaekyung was being ass not trusting him, and said that it was his own mistake, and that he was not worthy being his physician. So like, him suddenly saying out of nowhere that Jaekyung always wanted his body and never respected him as a person feels kinda out of character to me, because unlike in BJ Alex where Dong Gyun slowly realizes the mistreatment, here such unfolding was never built-up before, unless he visited a therapist behind the scenes. To me, it feels like author is trying a bit hard to push the same BJ Alex scenario here as well, but it feels so out-of-character for both of them. At this point, they don’t need romance; they need therapy. Like asap
