I know, its stupid. I'm guessing Azuella (is that red hair's name?) managed to make her charm power exponentially more powerful by that point after siphoning off 99% of FL's power so bc FL did show faint divine power he had to take her in due to the law but he was probably brainwashed so he hated her and believed she was a fake despite all evidence to the contrary... the brainwash plot is such a cop out but they definitely mentioned it for a reason
I feel like it’s always so easy for important/powerful characters to be brainwashed lol. Like cmon, find some countermeasures cause that’s just too easy and frustrating （￣へ￣）
I’m confused- at the beginning the emperor shuns her away when she’s showing her low spiritual power- but it’s stated that only people born from imperial blood can manifest those powers no? Shouldn’t that have been a clear sign? Aside from the fact that she looks so much like her mother lol
