When thay unfold people would still call uke bad not blaming seme at all , in my personal opinion uke is far more clever for me , it would be stupid to get revenge in the first place when it's his friend's own decision as grown man to help seme in the first place hence they are all bad people cuz they grown rich so of course they would selfish and ignorant

Yah he is not bad I like uke his being detached makes it more interesting for me , seme yah manipulative and uke is aware of that he still get along cuz he kinda liking it despite being aware of all this. His behaviour of minding his own business and not taking responsibility over someone else life makes it for many people unlikable but for me it's realistic approach any person with ni motivation in life would feel that way , plus they are all rich people.

People are insane, they literally said it was Taeshin's fault for going with the seme to meet his friends and getting gang raped...
If that's what his friends are like he definitely shouldn't have brought him and what does that say about his character if rapists are his friends... we've seriously lost the plot here

Unfortunately. But seme didn’t want him to go. He was the one who forced him to go there. Since seme is deranged and didn’t know the concept of feelings etc, he didn’t argue with Taeshin and let him be. He went outside to smoke while Taeshin was talking with the ‘friends’ then these friends mistook Taeshin as ‘Woojin’s human sacrifice. When he went back inside the bunker, he saw what was happening and yeah he thought that Taeshin was enjoying it so he let it be. Woojin was diagnosed with ‘Antisocial Disorder Syndrome’ since he was a child. I’m not victim blaming but if the person doesn’t want you to go then don’t go. He already informed Taeshin of what he wanted from him in the first place. Taeshin was quite naive. He suffered the consequences. He kword himself thinking that will make Woojin feel guilty. But no. Unfortunately. Life is just too cruel to him.

You didn’t read the novel so you’re free to get mad. But Haewon wasn’t free of guilt as well. He did everything to make Woojin crawl in all fours and bark and ask forgiveness. He sent Woojin to jail (not literally but he was the reason Woojin surrendered himself to jail) and I was so glad that part happened. The chasing the crematorium part of this novel is really good. Even the justification of both the dead characters.

Exactly. It’s like mC was a tailored character for ML. I really like how ML grovel in this novel. How he learned about human feelings etc. all of that was new to him. As I was reading ML’s pov on second volume, I was shocked to learn how deranged his way of thinking until I read that part where his family disowned him because of what happened to his brother during his childhood and after that they send him for a consultation and the findings was ‘antisocial personality disorder’. He is that kind of person who can memorize thousands of law books and will stick to what he think is right as per the law minus empathy. I dunno how to explain it but yeah he doesn’t know what ‘feelings’ is.

Those people weren’t actually ‘friends’ for Woojin. Those people were part of his plan to capture big fishes who corrupt, embezzle etc. He’s taking secret videos of these people doing nasty things so he has something to hold them on leash. That hideout was where these notorious second/third generation chaebols gather to do nasty things. And woojin as a prosecutor, made himself as part of them to collect weakness and evidence. It’s just that, that day when they had their ‘meeting’, Taeshin was there.
I read the novel, and both of them are equally deranged. Lol. One is detached, while the other is a mix of sociopath and psychopath. I actually liked the story. If you're looking for a revenge trope, this isn't it. The friend who k-worded himself did everything of his own volition. I'm not saying he deserved it just because he was naive, but he grew up as a pampered little prince and never truly grasped the harshness of the world.
He was the one who asked to go with Woojin to meet Woojin's friends and ended up graped because Woojin went out to smoke. He was the one who lost his mind and had to suffer the consequences. He was also the one who wanted to help Woojin with his plan to extract evidence of corruption from his family-it wasn't Woojin who told him to do so. Now, Woojin has a phobia of anyone close to him who is 29 years old because both his ex-fiancée and his friend died at that age.
