it has nothing to do with his background, it’s more of a typical king and queen formality so far. when mc asks an attendant about it, she gave him vague answers saying he shouldnt question the kings decisions
more context: the only information we know about his past is that his clan committed treason against the previous king or government in some way, which is why he had to work as a government slave. it doesn’t say much about him being a royal or noble, but it sounds like they were an important name at some point before their recent fall. its alluded by the king/tiger god that they met in the past and knew each other as children, but mc doesn’t remember
It’s just a title, and he’s the prince! He can make anyone a princess. If this was those toxic manhwa’s the king and ministers wouldn’t allow it, MC would probably just be a concubine, and the higher title would be a marquis. That’s why I think ML likes him that much to make him directly be a princess. But then again still to early to tell, I just hope this wouldn’t go the the betrayal, power struggle, and killing route.
I'm so confused, can anyone explain to me why they call the mc a princess or "crown princess"? Does the mc have a noble or royalty background?
