It's probably so strange because she's way to small. I know she's malnourished, but the height gap between her and ML is crazy rn, it doesn't look right for him to like her, but it does seem natural that she would have a childish crush on the first kind person she ever met.
i rlly do think this story is nice and cute but i just don’t get why they’re pushing the “romance”/the ML’s interest in her so early into the story.
And it’s not like this trope is unique & hasn’t been done in other manhwas, but something about this one just feels iffy. And I mean in the sense it feels forced, like they’re doing it for the sake of doing it. I genuinely do not think their bond so far has been written that well.
It’s not bad by any means but it feels so empty— seeing the ML blush over her, having a special interest in her, wanting to be around her frequently, pushing this idea of him wanting to monopolize & spoil her— it all just feels stupid to me. Like i rlly just wish their bond felt more natural, bc rn it’s screaming inorganic to me.
I’ll still read because I find the family to be cute somewhat but the “romance” is genuinely ruining it for me so far.
