idk how yall can read this without getting genuinely distressed

for me at least, i don't read this bc i want see romance. it's more like i like the drama and thriller of it all. i don't experience these kind of events in my personal life so it's entertaining to read about complex characters and situations. it's kind of like watching a horror movie. people don't watch them bc they fantasize about those situations but because it's entertaining to watch.
