ML will rape, and imprison MC, followed by more rape, and humiliated him by openly courting a crown princess candidate under the logic "the contract hasnt ended, therefore you are my property, my lover, and i will keep you here by my side till i get sick of you"
he will push MC to the edge of his mental cliff before he realizes and regrets everything big time.
he does regret it big time and MC inflicted physical, emotional, and psychological damage to ML before escaping for freedom, but whether you think its enough repenting or not is totally up to you.

on the ML's side, it started because he found out that MC not only already prepared his "retirement" without informing him, MC never once opened up to him in all the years they spent together, and he realizes that MC is only ever stiff when hes around ML and noone else. Luce was fine, could laugh, and forms bonds with anyone except Ayle.and ML, was unaware of his own emotions, was unconsciously anxious, betrayed, and heartbroken of MC's apparent disregard for him and their time together.

also! to further contextualise the ML's actions
spoiler
MC obviously hated the ML for what he did, but after MC escapes for freedom and has more space to reflect, he acknowledges that he forgot ML is actually still young, had everything handed to him on a platter, and therefore doesn't know how to deal with someone telling him no. Hence his heinous actions - because he wasn't ever told that they were wrong.
And with this acknowledgement, MC is able to come to terms with ML's behaviour and start moving towards forgiveness and moving on.
Personally I'm glad that this was called out in the narrative because it gives more nuance to MC understanding the ML and starting their relationship anew.
MC doesn't know this but ML is also unable to feel much emotions, and this seriously creeped out his mother, leading to the ML being neglected. So that gives further insight into ML's behaviour to the reader.
Just wanted to leave this further context for other readers in case they're like urgh not another 'MC forgives ML for everything just bc the ML grovels / MC has stockholm syndrome', because like, the story is more three-dimensional than that

MC did hurt ML (stabbed him in the shoulder iirc) right before escaping. its wasnt as bad as i hoped but it did serve as a wake up call to ML and actually got his head straight. the chasing arc was interesting coz theres a third party included in the chasing lmao, basically someone trying to kill them as they chase each other. and Dont worry, Elsen eloped with the love of his life

i've only read the available english translation, which isn't complete (and hasn't updated in a while) so if Kasey knows the answer to this, they can step in
Kasha's beloved is another person who hasn't yet been introduced - he's Someone Important from a neighbouring country who went back to his country after being jilted by Kasha (probably)
In terms of what happened between him and Kasha in the past, the current translations haven't yet explained that, so i don't really know the details
In anticipation of a potential question you might have - the current translations also haven't explained why Kasha is so attached to Ruth but not so much to Elsen despite all three of them having grown up together. Kasha is a bit of a mystery at the moment

I see.. I saw other spoilers that kasha's story includes incest, apparently a twin brother of his. Indeed kasha's story is a mystery and that's what makes his side very interesting esp he's my favorite character here. Anyways, thank you so much for this! I do wanna know more about him so I hope if someone have finished reading the novel please comment here
and thus, we shall now start the agony (๑´•. • `๑)
