They were somehow able to kidnap her and keep her for the duration of her pregnancy. If she was at her normal capacity, then yea she’ll have no problem beating them, but she would be recovering from giving birth. It’s easy to just drug her when she’s at her weakest state, which would be after giving birth. I’m sure in the world where they have magic and can turn into their animal form, theres probably magic suppressers.

Someone said she was kidnapped, why else would she be with her family, knowing they hate her for marrying their rivals and giving birth to ‘mix blood’ children. They were hoping that when she gives birth the mc, she would be a powerful snow leopard like her, but her abilities didn’t manifest nor did she look completely like a snow leopard. Their plan was to take the child, if she turned out be like the mum.

Hopefully, it would be annoying if they don’t explain why she was with her maternal family in the first place. They better not just say that she died of child, that’s it end of story. My theory is the stress of the whole situation probably cause her to go into labour, which was probably made things difficult.
Honestly, I think they won’t elaborate her death unless family killed her. They usually leave it at dead during childbirth since it was super common at those times. Though with strong superpowers it doesn’t seem so likely tbh
I just realised had the mother survived, her family probably would have killed mc and forced the mother to give birth to a pure snow leopard child. Probably drug her so she can’t fight back and get someone to impregnate her. I wouldn’t be surprised since the shit maternal grandfather is obsessed in beating the black leopard in becoming the leopard clan leader.
Or use the mc as a hostage to make the mother comply to them. Either way, it may sound bad, but it’s a good thing she had died or else who knows what they would have done. Turning her into a baby making machine to produce powerful snow leopards.
Even if she was alive they could lie and say that she had died and any child she would be forced to have, they would say it was her sister’s or a branch family’s.
