Agree, Juheon has trust issues; a lot of his experiences with people weren't good, forcing him to put on his mask and close his heart off. This isn't the kind of thing that can be easily healed, and I can imagine finding out Dohu's secret isn't just shocking.
It would make him question which moment with Dohu was genuine or whether there was ever a genuine moment; I think that's why Juheon ghosted Dohu for a week. He needed time to think and calmed himself down. Because for Juheon, Dohu has always been the only safe haven for him where he can be completely himself. He was even trying to pretend everything was okay for the sake of not losing that place.
At the same time, I can understand Dohu's fear. This is also his first 'real' relationship. His past dating experiences didn't help and didn't count imo, because he was so emotionally detached from his previous partners. So while he might not say it, Juheon is the most important person in his life, just like how Dohu is to Juheon.
But anyways, sorry for rambling. I just think that the lack of communication is partly because this is their first relationship. And since the root of the problem is a sensitive issue for Juheon, resolving it is tough . I just hope Dohu knows what to say
I actually like the progress and the catharsis. It was so satisfying seeing everything fall down on them.
I don’t think juheon is being overdramatic. It’s extremely shameful and angering at the same time to see a whole analysis about oneself written by a loved one. And just think about it. It wasnt a nice one. Juheon was hella manipulative and calculating while dohu lacked empathy and was self centered - but as a writer he did understand juheon well. It’s like a punch in the face.
Considering what both of them went through they weren’t the best match. But in my opinion, this was lack of communication on Dohus part. He was the one having secrets, and he knew that he’s doing something wrong. They did work out and had a great foundation, but for juheon it must have been a huge shock. After all, he’s been approached only with an intention in mind. His aunt, and now Dohu.
