can you please tell me what they cut out? i’m curious
So from little I read before I caught up a lot went down before their trip:
- Darcy has another confrontation with Ryan and the emperor actually put Darcy under house arrest
- Marso has another meeting with the traitorous maid Leticia or Letty where we find out she's not only Ryan's right hand but also the master of a black market merchant guild the buy and sell arcanium stones (which is illegal because there are only like 4 mines in the empire). Marso basically in so many words told Letty to put her money where her mouth is and stand up to Ryan because Letty was feeling guilty for betraying her.
- Marso also had a visit with her dad where he basically told her to watch her back because the emperor had his eyes on her and she told him to mind his own business and don't pretend he ever cared about her
- A little more of Ryan crashing out because Marso won't pay attention to him (she ignored his requests to meet to go to another country with Darcy)
- A scene from where they were saving Eaton where Darcy grew jealous because Eaton was holding Marso's hand (Yes this was in the manhwa but there were more words in the novel)
- Marso gets accosted by two guards interrogating her first about Eatons's disappearance then about what she's doing out so late and it looks a little suspicious until Darcy gets back from dropping of Eaton and there's a moment where they have a talk where Marso encourages Darcy to give himself a chance to make up with the wizards

They cut out quite a bit of a novel ngl it makes the story messier it makes me a little sad, such a good story deserves better
