Yeah, I agree. At first, Maril was portrayed as someone who cared more about wealth, which is pretty common these days. Maybe her drastic character change started because of her high self-confidence. As a beloved female cat who's always been admired, getting rejected even once must’ve hurt her ego—especially when she found out that Theo turned her down for a hamster (who, in Maril's eyes, wasn’t even on her level). She’d do whatever it takes to get what she wants. Not to mention, she teamed up with a Goblin who’s great at manipulation.
so far it's not that bad of a change, i especially excited for more of the cats and human interaction since it's kinda disappear after theo employed the other cats. glad to see it in the manhwa
