I haven't read the novel so I am not 100% sure but from what I've seen people say is that it takes on a more reverse harem plot.

It's no one (I mean felix has now a crush on her and is trying to make her notice history feelings but that's it, there's also that ice dude who is oblivious to his feelings for monica but yea in the ending theres no endgames for monica but it's a good ending nevertheless)
