I'm crying the things Mido did to Jichan are literally being used as the final punishment for the main antagonist of the story, and I'm supposed to be happy they ended up together? listen, I know that in every fucking manhwa out there they always end up forgiving and forgetting and living happily ever after, so obviously I'm not surprised and I expected this, but even with the amount of bls I've read I've rarely come across w one that has the black flag ML just....not improve or learn or just plain chnge in any way whatsoever as this one has. like yeah, I know that mido has said a couple of times that he's sorry and he was wrong, but honestly it just feels like he's saying it just to say it. like the author put it there so they could say "look, he's sorry, now they can be together". which, fair, like the author can do whatever they want and if I didn't want to I wouldn't have read it, but come onnnnn like there's just no personal development in *any* character, the only thing that advances are the events. the characters we see at the end of the story are in no way changed as people as they were in the beginning. jichan still thinks it's his fault mido ended up like that (and whether it is or isn't is a whole other matter) and it's even reinforced by other characters blaming him, and I'm absolutely convinced that mido would do this again, especially since he know jichan will forgive him. I don't really know where I'm going w this, I guess I'm just disappointed? not surprised, but I guess I just wanted jichan to acknowledge that what was done to him was really fucking bad and not his fault, or at least see some character development. I just don't really see a point to this story, I guess? which, fair, sometimes we just wanna read porn tbh
