That's true, though technically he is the son of the fairy and Mildred is not the stepmother of the story since the Cinderella of this world is not Ashley but the former queen (ML's Godmother).
But imagine if it were them in actual cinderella, oh the tension enemies to lovers trope. I can alr imagine the fairy godmother teasing the step mother as a yellow cat, and stepmother as a black cat type. ( now imagine them in bl)
Ngl I think that's going to be an interesting conclet to read LMAO. I'm just hoping for some plot-twisting comedy and a HOT "stepmother" and "fairy" to add to that concept.
Well even if they are not the actual Cinderella, Baron said that Mildred circumstances is very similar. The wish that Ashley made also granted by fairy powers like in Cinderella. So, we can still see it as Stepmother x Fairy.
