He really does, honestly. He deserves someone who isn't so indicisive when it comes to protecting her people. She is NOT the strong Queen the author keeps telling us she is; we've been shown quite the opposite.
It doesn't matter if she is strong or weak. I personally don't like that she doesn't feel anything wrong with an incompetent king ruling her people. She even actively talks to him after the dye poison incident. That was disgusting for me
That's what I mean. She abandoned her entire people because her brother FELT BAD. Like yes mental health is important but you are conveniently forgetting that your brother THE KING was fully prepared to sweep everything under the rug and put your populace in danger. Has been CONTINUOUSLY watching her be abused at the hands of his useless mother (and letting his mother abuse her power) and just says. "Awww. I can't do anything. uwu"
