I'm pretty sure you're talking about the Kiznaiver anime? The character Maki Honoka was friends with a girl who was in love with her, and they worked together on a manga. It's an original anime production though, so it doesn't have a manga.
Does anyone remember a yuri manga where they work together to write manga, one makes the story/ draws while the other draws the background. I think it mightve been doomed yuri but I can't quite remeber
