As someone who read the manhwa first then read the novel in full (because I'm impatient as hell), yeah the story is confusing in the manhwa. But if you read the novel then everything makes sense.
Well, this just proves that the manhwa only functions as eye candy and smut, and the storyline of the manhwa is severely lacking. Even though I would say 90% of the storyline still follows the novel, important details in the novel were forsaken in the manhwa, and as a result, manhwa reader get confused as hell.
This is optional, but for those who wants to read the novel, you can read it in Novel Utopia under the same name (any novel site has Predatory Marriage, but my favourite is Novel Utopia). Hope this helps ^^
