tsundere is a word of japanese origin.
roughly, tsun means aloof and dere means loving (again, not 100% literal translation). it refers to a character who seems rude/cold/aloof/combative at first but has a softer/gentler/more loving side to them. tsundere and yandere (the duke fits this actually) are pretty well known tropes especially in anime/manga.
yall its pretty obvious mc likes ml, hes just denying it cuz he cant believe it and also his personalities just like that. There are a lot of things that show this but most recent one, I mean mf was asked what his ideal type was and he literally described seme not even a female version of him either he said the male version LOL.
